2012 New American Hero - Nicole Polstein

We are proud to announce that Ms. Nicole Polstein has been selected as the 2012 New American Hero at CCCS.  As an outstanding First Grade Teacher, she was nominated by her peers, students, and parents to receive this distinct recognition.  Congratulations Ms. Polstein!

WHERE IS BOB THE BOBCAT?

The CCCS mascot spent the summer traveling to various locations around the United States. This photo was taken in Canton, Georgia. Bob's travels will be recorded by students on a large U.S. Map in the center hallway for everyone to see. Your family can be a part this project by making a "reservation" to include Bob on a trip and by taking his picture for all students to see. Look for details about Bob's travels when you visit the school.

Keyboard Lab

Students enjoy learning how to play the piano keyboard in our high tech keyboard lab. The computers allow students to record their music, create and write music, as well as practice there timing and rhythm knowledge. Using the headphones, students can hear their own "creations" without disturbing others!
